Arms of Love Foster Care

Did you know? At any given time in the State of Arizona there are 10,000 kids in care and approximately 20% do not live in family settings.

Ministry becomes very personal when it is happening in your own home. When you invite a child whom you have never met before into your home to live with your family…you have a very unique opportunity to truly put the Word of God into action through serving that child and those involved in the child’s life.  Your life, interactions and reactions can be a testimony of the love of Jesus Christ. It is an amazing opportunity for spiritual growth in your own heart and life as well.

Foster Care is an amazing ministry and we recognize the extraordinary role foster parents play in the lives of children in need and applaud their commitment. Our goal is to ensure that every child has a safe, loving, Christian home to reside in while they are unable to be in their own home.

We are a licensing agency contracted by the State of Arizona who work in partnership with foster parents to help them provide the best possible care to meet the varied and often challenging needs of the children in their homes. We maintain open and supportive relationships with foster families. Our services include monthly home visits, regular telephone contact, ongoing training, material support and regular prayer.

Arms of Love Foster Care Program seeks families who are Christian, active in a local evangelical church and agree with the ABCS statement of Faith.

If you are at least 21 years of age, have space in your home for additional children and have a stable income, you meet the general guidelines. You can be married, single or divorced. You must meet basic safety requirements, and you need to complete some paperwork and training.
