Jessie is the daughter of Steve and Dottie Bass. Steve is the North American Mission Board vice president for convention relations in the West and former Arizona Southern Baptist Convention executive director. Jessie Powell is a North American Mission Board church planting catalyst serving in the Phoenix area. Stefanie and Jessie have been Arms of Love foster parents for two years.
Damien and Hayden Nichols share about their journey as Arms of Love foster parents and reflect on their decision to foster and adopt, despite difficult circumstances.
They also discuss their dependence on God and prayerful consideration of each step along the way. Says Damien, "God has restored everything he's taken, so every loss he has restored and then some. It doesn't take away the pain. It doesn't minimize the suffering. But it was worth it." Hayden adds, "God has so much more for you than what you can ask or imagine. He has been so faithful.
