Deb Wagner serves as the Statewide Counseling Director and provides Christ-centered counseling to adolescents, adults and families. She specializes in helping those with identity issues, self-destructive patterns and spiritual disillusionment. Deb received her Counseling Psychology Master’s degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has served the Lord in a number of cross-cultural missions, church and para-church ministries. She enjoys membership with the American Association of Christian Counselors and is a Board Certified Christian Counselor. Deb provides New Life Counseling services in Catalina and Tucson.

George Gomez provides Christ-centered pastoral counseling to hurting couples and families. He received his Master’s degree in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has 19 years of counseling experience. George also pastors the Vail Valley Baptist Church in Southeastern Arizona. He celebrates God’s enduring love and redemption in the lives of his clients. George ministers with New Life Counseling in the Tucson office.

Lorena Diaz specializes in treating child, teen and adult survivors of trauma including physical, emotional and sexual abuse, neglect, grief and loss, crime and domestic violence. She received her Master’s in Social Work with an emphasis in children and families from the University of Kansas and is licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health. She enjoys membership with The National Association of Social Workers and The Association for Play Therapy. Lorena has extensive experience ministering God’s grace and freedom through play therapy, sand tray therapy and other expressive therapies. Lorena serves with New Life Counseling in Tucson.

Church Counseling Program
The Church Counseling Program is a partnership between New Life Counseling and local churches. Counseling is offered at a reduced rate with a portion of the fee being subsidized by the church.
Our Necessary Fees
Fees range from $40.00 to $80.00 per session* and are based on family income. For those who would otherwise be unable to receive counseling we attempt to subsidize counseling through church gifts when funds allow. * Due to the space allotted per appointment, there is a standard $25 fee if you miss a scheduled session.
