George Gomez provides Christ-centered pastoral counseling to hurting couples and families. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Counseling from Criswell College and his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been counseling and pastoring for 21 years. George currently pastors Vail Valley Baptist Church. He celebrates God’s enduring love and redemption in the lives of his clients. George ministers with New Life Counseling in the Tucson office. He and his wife Denise have been married 38 years; they have 2 children and 6 grandchildren.

Originally from Selma, Alabama, Calvin Coker has lived in Arizona for more than two decades. He works as a technology manager and team lead for production support at a major information technology company. He taught Bible school for over 20 years, and served as Senior Pastor of the House of the Lord in Tucson, Pastor of Discipleship for other churches and is currently Executive Pastor and Education Leader at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church. He also serves as Vice President of the Southern Baptist District Association Christian Education Department. Calvin has a BA in General Studies from the University of Arizona and a BS in Computer Science from Chapman College. He completed seminary classes from the International Baptist College in Phoenix and is currently working to complete a Masters of Ministry at Wayland Baptist University. Calvin has provided pastoral counseling for over 12 years and ministers with New Life Counseling at the Tucson office.

Roger Daniels provides pastoral counseling to individuals, couples and families, and has a special place in his heart for working with adolescents. He has been active in ministry – as either pastor, counselor or chaplain – for more than 25 years. Roger received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY as well as a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Lincoln Christian University. He is certified as a Pastoral Counselor by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and is endorsement by the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention as a Chaplain/Pastoral Counselor. He currently serves as Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Arizona City, AZ. Roger and his wife Alice have been married 30 years, and have two grown daughters. In his spare time Roger enjoys cycling and officiating high school basketball.

Bethany Headley provides Christ-centered counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Bethany received her Master’s degree in Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served the Lord in a number of cross-cultural missions, churches and para-church ministries. She has worked as an Adoption Specialist and completed training in Group Crisis Intervention and Emotional and Spiritual Care in Disasters. She received Jesus as her Savior at the age of five and celebrates a life of walking with Him. Bethany serves as a Christian Counselor with New Life Counseling at the Phoenix and Scottsdale offices, and is temporarily counseling out of our Tucson office as well.
